Baby Card

Hello Blog World,

It’s Sunday night and what a big weekend I have had.  Firstly WHEW, just finished 40 minutes of aerobics and I am poofed!  I also had a big day at little athletics today and Tiana did very well (more on that later). And I also got a few cards made.

I love challenges, all sorts of challenges, sketches, colour challenges, techniques etc…  They just get the creative juices flowing. So I played with this weeks Monday Mojo Sketch and The Play Date Cafe Colour Challenge

Mojo213Sketch 0color story

And I came up with this…

baby

I had trouble fitting the grey in there but I managed  a little on the stamp, the liquid pearls, some inking around the edges and believe it or not the brad in the middle of the flower is grey but my camera didn’t want to pick that up for some reason.

Anyway I am off to make my warm mustard chicken salad, fix a friends dress and then the treadmill.  Until then, Happy Crafting.

Cards, Cards Everywhere Cards

Hello Blog World,

My sister in law Kelly from KV Creations is so talented and creative; she sells a lot through her website, but even more through her Facebook page which has more one off originals than her actual website, check her out!

Anyway she is having her first market stall this month and has kindly asked me to make some small gift type cards so she can give away with purchases. She is also allowing me to put some cards up to sell as well, I really don’t know if they are good enough or if they will sell at all, but I am going to give it a go, nothing to lose right?

Here are the tiny cards I have made for her.

gft card aqua gft card orange
gft card purple gft card blue
gft card pink gft card all

Being that these are quite small, I decided to go the clean and simple route. I have just used my slice cutter to cut out different shapes in different colour card stocks, then matched those colours to the card base, stuck some white card stock on which I have stamped a sentiment and then popped the shape with foam. Wah Lah little cards completed. We didn’t want happy birthday or congratulations or anything specific, so I just stuck with “Just for you”, it can be used for most anything.
Below are some cards I have made to try and sell at her stall in TWO weeks time!!

Being so close to Christmas I need to get some more Christmas Cards in the mix!
But if these go well – stay tuned for more cards to come.

Masculine??

Hello Blog World,

Well Friday is here thank goodness and I have a weekend full of crafting to do (except Sunday as I have a little athletics carnival for my daughter).
The healthy lifestyle challenge is going great, but more of that on Monday.

As you know I have been making a lot of cards for a market stall I am attending in 2 weeks!!! Got so much to do! And I have another one for you today.  I have tried my hand at a more masculine type of card.

What do you think?  Did I pull it off?  I don't know...I just can't decide. But I am going to enter it into the following challenges...

So I am off to little athletics, gotta make a healthy dinner to go first but until then enjoy the weekend ahead and happy crafting.

Christmas is a coming

Hello Blog World,

I have been busy busy busy making cards so stayed tuned! My sister in law is having her first market stall in a couple of weeks and has asked if I want to put some cards in there to sell.  Well I was overjoyed and thought how cool this could be fun.  I don't really expect to sell anything much but you never know your luck and with Christmas only 53 days away (can we all scream NOOOOOOOOO now) I thought I should really get some Christmas Cards in there.

So I took this fabulous sketch again from Clean and Simple 164

Changed it up a bit and came up with a lovely Christmas Card.

Off I go now for some aerobics (wish me luck) and don't forget my link party I need more creative ideas on how to maintain this healthy lifestyle, until then Happy Crafting :)
